Our Story

Maroon Pig Art Gallery and Sweet Shop

……………………………………………………………………………………….

Ten Years ago Richard and Stacy Toms made a choice to move from a suburb of the largest Canadian city to a less hectic life in a rural community. Doing something we love – creating our original hand-made goods. Along the way we added to our family chaos with two boys, Owen and Callum. Our Sweet Shop menu focuses on handmade irresistible treats that employ fresh, locally sourced ingredients (wherever possible). Our Art Gallery focuses on original artwork including original artist prints.

Indulge both your sense of sight and taste in this unique destination location and neighbourhood place, located in the historic Captain John Smith house in scenic Georgetown, a small fishing village where the freshest seafood is available just across the street.

See you in Georgetown.
